We cannot change what Adam and Eve did, but through Jesus Christ, who is God, we do not have to be condemned. Romans 8:1 says "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

         You and I have a choice to make. Will we believe what God says or will we reject it? The consequences of either decision are clearly revealed to us. The greatest mystery to me is why men, knowing of God, knowing His offer the free gift of salvation . . .refuse Him. Why do men continue to do wrong, knowing it is wrong? Why choose destruction instead of life. The answer is revealed in John 3:16-19:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

         You see the problem is with us isn't it? All we have to do is believe and reap of the benefits of God's love. I do not say this to be scolding or critical, but to make the point clear..."What is the point in some people spending their time trying to blame God for their bad decisions, instead of accepting the reality of their situation and letting God, redeem them from the consequences of their bad decisions?"

"But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:4-10)

"Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us" (1 John 3:16).

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).

         I have tried to explain it the best I know how as God has revealed it to us in His word. I pray that you will chose to believe Him. I will respond to any comments you have or continue as you direct.

            Eve and Adam, believed Satan rather than God and thus Satan is the one who is responsible for death, not God.  God created a perfect Universe without any sin or death. Yet, man refused to believe God and thus brought sin and death on us all.

                 Second, sin brought death.     The moment Adam and Eve sinned the process of death began in them and the whole of the universe.  The died spiritually being separated from communion with God.  Yet, in love, God provided skins for a covering and forgave their sin.

           But their sin not only effected them, it effected the whole of the universe which was created for man.  It is evidenced in the Second Laws of Thermodynamics.  This scientific law states that everything in the universe is running down or going from a state in which energy is localized and available to use, to one in which it is less concentrated and less available to use.    It is often related to what we call Murphy's Law.   If something can go wrong, it will. In other words, everything is running down, and wearing out. This law of nature completely disproves the erroneous theory of evolution which says things are getting more complicated and better. The process of aging is the process of destruction and it is destroying the universe.  

           The earth has been in a state of destructive change since the Fall of Man (Genesis 3), and especially since the Flood (Genesis 6).   This is why we have earthquakes, volcanos, floods, and natural disasters.  This was not so before man sinned.    The earthquake in the Indian Ocean and the thousands of other natural disasters happening daily around the world are the result of this process of the earth changing and running down.   It began when man rejected God by not believing Him.    God clearly told Adam and Eve the truth and they did not have to do wrong.   He told them that if they rejected His warning they would die.  

               So, the moment a child is born the dying process is working and in time it will die.   Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”      All sin is doing something that is wrong and is always destructive.   Even what we call little sins have a negative effect on us.   The Bible calls it unrighteousness.   Righteousness is simply doing what is right.  They refused to accept God's truth and love....yes His love for them in putting them in the Garden of Eden.  They willingly and knowingly sinned and became sinners.     Because they became sinners their children also were born with the sin nature.  A corrupted man cannot produce a perfect child. Children will be like their father. 

               Why did God let Adam and Eve sin?    The answer is that God is a loving and a just God.   He did not create us as robots in which He controlled our actions.   He created us in His image having intelligence, emotion and a will.    If He had not allowed Adam to sin, God would have violated Adam's will.  God respects all men and will not violate a man’s will.  Man being intelligent can make choices to do right or wrong.  God through both natural and special relation (the Bible) tells man who He is and how he can be saved, so that man is without excuse (Romans 1:18-22).  God being just, then must also allow man to be responsible for his actions.   So when a man chooses to do wrong, he suffers the consequences of his wrong decision.   

             God loved man and wants man to love Him also.    A robot cannot love. Only a man who has intelligence, emotion and a will can return God’s love and have  communion with God.    At the Fall of man, God promised a Savior (Gen. 3:15) who would undo and allow man to overcome his error.    God’s plan was the He would come to earth, incarnate in man and suffer and pay the penalty for man’s sins....because man, being a sinner, could not pay the debt Himself.   So God’s justice required a penalty and God’s love provided Himself as the Savior.   So God provided the Savior and way that man can by simple faith, be forgiven of his sins and receive eternal life and spent all eternity communing with God.  But God does not force salvation on any man. Man must accept it by faith.     

            It is certainly tragic that so many were killed in the tsunami. We are horrified at the pictures of death and destruction.   But the reality is that good has come from it also.   These children are gone from the earth, but that is not their end.   Children before they reach the age of accountability are under the shed blood of Jesus Christ, which means that if they die the are taken to heaven.     Thousands of children went to heaven immediately in this disaster.    They were from nations where most of the people are unsaved believing in false gods and religions that cannot save.    Had these children lived they would have grown up worshiping idols as most of their parents did and died unsaved.   We have a hard time accepting that death is a good thing, but are they not better off now being in heaven?  Most of them lived a poor existence in poverty without proper food, shelter and medical care.  We understand this principle when we see an adult suffering from some incurable disease and when they die we say they are better off because their suffering is over. These children are suffering no more, but enjoying the joys of heaven. Had they lived it is unlikely that many of them would have gone to heaven.     

           The thousands that died were mostly unsaved people living in sin worshiping false gods who do not exit.   This is hard to accept, but even they are better off in the sense that because of their lives being cut short their judgment will be less than if they had lived long lives of sin.       

          Those who were killed who knew the Lord as their Savior, were instantly taken to heaven to be with the Lord.  It has brought great sorry to their loved ones, but we have to accept the truth that they too are better off in heaven. It is comforting to the living to know their loved ones are now with the Lord and as 1 Thessalonians 4:13 says, "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.”       

          This same truth applies to the Old Testament when large numbers of men, women and children were destroyed.   To understand this we have to see things as God does and in the full reality of the situation.  Even though some have a hard time accepting this truth...it is an act of God’s love that takes a child to heaven who would have grown up and died unsaved.   It is God’s love that ends the life of a sinner and thereby lessens his judgment.       

          God did not cause this disaster. The ultimate blame rests with Satan who tempted Adam and Eve to sin, who is a liar and deceiver and who is still busy at work tempting men and destroying lives.   Yes, God allowed it and did not prevent it from happening.   The disaster is the natural result of the Fall of man and of sin.   God in His love, has taken a great disaster and brought good from it as shown above. God promises that one day, He will return and purge the world of sin.   He promises salvation to all who will believe and that means the we can ultimately overcome all the death that sin has brought.  

          The Bible explains who is our Creator. "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men." (John 1:3-4) Colossians tells us that it is Jesus Christ our God and Creator who is the source of power and life on the Earth. "And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." (Colossians 1:17)

          Science has tried to theorize how life can to be by inventing the "theory of evolution." However, though still believed by many scientists, many others are seriously questioning the theory because they see no evidence of it. No scientist has ever seen anything being influence by this mystical and elusive process they call "evolution." With hundreds of thousands of scientist researching life you would think that they would find the source or observe some even minute example of evolution. But they find none. The problem is they are anti-God and will not accept our Creator and God. The denial of there being a Creator is the root of why evolution was invented. It was created to explain life without a Creator Designer. It is a complete fabrication of men who refuse to accept they are the creation of God, and who deny all the evidence that proves they are.

           The field of biology is especially sensitive to examining the claims of evolution. The biologists see the complexity of life and know that random change, as the "theory" of evolution teaches, could not have produced life in all it varying and complex forms. The First and Second laws of Thermodynamic prove unquestionably that every thing in the universe is running down and since the universe began nothing new is being produced. Further there is no evidence that life has evolved upward. The evidence including the fossil records show plainly all life is moving downward.

           But all this is not positive proof....it is overwhelming evidence that what we see in life demands a Designer to create life.

          The Bible, which is God's written word to man, says that man is a sinner and has a nature to do wrong. Evidence of that is overwhelming, too. All we need do is look at ourselves and turn on the TV and see the news. Why is man so bent on destroying himself and those around him? Why so many wars and such cruelty in the world? From birth, children naturally do what is wrong and must be taught to do right. Left alone, a child will always do what is wrong. Children naturally are disobedient to parents and tend to rebel. Parents and teachers then have to teach children to do what is right and in their best interest. Man is at war with other men. Why do we not love and respect each other which would be in our best interest? Why do most people hate each other. The Bible is right, man has a sin nature and is a sinner and sins against each other and against our Creator.

          Yes, God does know everything. God created man with a will to make his own decisions and God respects a man's will and will not force Himself on us. That means he allows us to do what we want. Man can reject His existence, and live as we want too. However, although God will not violate our wills, He does hold us responsible for our actions and one day will judge us accordingly.

           Yes, being omniscient God knows who will believe in Him. But as I said, he does not force Himself on us. He tells us in the Bible who He is and what is His plan for us. He then leaves it up to us to accept Him or reject Him. To those who accept Him, He forgives their sins and through the Holy Spirit directs, and guides them. He gives them a new nature that understands truth and can live a godly life and do what is right. I personally know that, having believed and had my life completely changed by God. I was a pretty rough and sinful person until by faith God gave me His grace and changed me.

           Life is certainly not pointless for those who recognize our God and Creator. There is a wonderful joy and peace in knowing God and being reconciled to our Creator and knowing our sins are forgiven and we are His children. There is great benefit in living as God would have us to and thereby avoiding the natural result of sin that is always destructive. There is also the absolute promise and assurance of God that when we die....and we all will one day die. Death for the believer is just a door way that opens for us that we might enter heaven. For the believer, death is not to be feared because God has given us eternal life.

           Yet, the person who refused to accept our God and Creator Jesus Christ cuts himself off from the blessing of God his Creator. His life can be said to be pointless, but a better word would be "wasted." His life is lived, guided by his sinful nature that has a bent to destroy him. God tells us that the unsaved man is not capable of being righteous (means being right). God who created us says that He will not force Himself on us and that if we chose to reject Him and not believe...He will not interfere.

           He tells us that heaven a perfect place where there is no sin. No one is worthy to go there because we are all sinners, but God says if we will believe and accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, then He forgives all our sins, and gives us His righteousness and makes us a new person. Sadly, the opposite is true for those who will not accept Him. They cannot go to heaven because they are sinners and remain under the judgment of their sins.

           The possibility of a king as central leader of the nation was foreseen as early as Genesis 17:6; Deuteronomy 17:14–20. The kings governed by using bureaucracies similar to those of other ancient Near Eastern kingdoms. Kings who overstepped the legitimate bounds of “government under God” were often confronted by prophets such as Nathan, Elijah, or Jeremiah (2 Sam. 12:1–15a). Isaiah the prophet pointed to the coming Messiah who would be the supreme ruling king and agency of God’s government of His people (Is. 9:6–7).

           After the fall of Jerusalem in 586 b.c., the Jews were ruled by foreign powers such as Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome. During most of these times, however, the Jews were allowed a measure of self-government. In time the office of High Priest took on political as well as religious dimensions. At most times there was also a group of local Jewish leaders that formed a governing council. In Jesus’ day, this body was called the Sanhedrin. Made up of both Sadducees and Pharisees, it was presided over by the high priest. Jesus taught that earthly governments exist by God’s will (John 19:11) and are legitimate as long as they do not take over the role reserved for God (Mark 12:13–17). When human governments exalt themselves above God, they go beyond their legitimate function in society (Dan. 5:31). Romans 13 discusses human government as ordained by God. Revelation 13, on the other hand, discusses it as becoming degenerate and demonic. Christians live in the tension created by the fact that governments can be good (Rom. 13) or evil (Rev. 13). When governments promote good and suppress evil, they fulfill their God-given function (Titus 3:1; 1 Pet. 2:13–14). But if government exalts itself as sovereign over all life, then it has overstepped its bounds and is a handmaid of evil. (Nelson's Bible Dictionary)

           Romans 13:1-6 explains the relationship of Christians to their government:

"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing." (Romans 13:1-6)

           We are called the "sons of God" and that means He is our Creator. He gave us life and has a purpose for our lives. So...there is no "mother" in the God-Head. God is not a man, nor ever was a man. God made woman for man....

           The Bible does not use such a word in reference to God the Father. Paul refers to God the Father in Galatians as "Abba." "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father." (Galatians 4:6)

           Clarke says, "Abba, Father - This Syriac word, which intimates filial affection and respect, and parental tenderness, seems to have been used by our blessed Lord merely considered as man, to show his complete submission to his Father's will, and the tender affection which he was conscious his Father had for him, Abba, Syriac, is here joined to ?pat?? , Greek, both signifying father; so Paul, Ro 8:15; Ga 4:6. The reason is, that from the time in which the Jews became conversant with the Greek language, by means of the Septuagint version and their commerce with the Roman and Greek provinces, they often intermingled Greek and Roman words with their own language. There is the fullest evidence of this fact in the earliest writings of the Jews; and they often add a word of the same meaning in Greek to their own term... The words appear to have been differently used among the Hebrews; the first Abbi, was a term of civil respect; the second, Abba, a term of filial affection. Hence, Abba, Abbi, as in the Syriac version in this place, may be considered as expressing, My Lord, my Father. And in this sense St. Paul is to be understood in the places referred to above.            Some misinformed preachers/teachers have mistakenly said the word means "daddy" because daddy is an affectionate term used for one's father. However, using the informal term "daddy" is not what Jesus in Mark 14:36 was using. As Clarke states it rather means "My Lord, My Father." Jesus was expressing in crying out to God the Father, the closest and most intimate of relationships. Yes, God is our Father who loves us and cares for us and we look upon Him affectionately. However, we also at all times hold in our hearts a deep respect for Him as our God, Savior, Lord and Creator.

           In Romans 8:15 Paul uses the term in reference to the believer's adoption as a child of God. It shows the relationship the believer has after salvation with God as their Father. Paul in using the term "Abba, Father" shows the position of the believer as a child of God is complete in that once saved a person refers intimately to God as their father.

           Using the term "daddy", which is baby talk, is not a proper or respectful way to refer to Our God and Savior.

           As you said He is omniscient and He is also totally righteousness meaning He cannot do anything wrong. Righteousness is simply rightness.

           Clearly He gave man a will and allowed him to use his powers of choice. He did not make man a robot which would be what would have happened if he had not allowed man to use his will. It seems God did not want to create a mast of robots, but rather people who would make the choice to love Him and in faith accept His redemption. We are made in God's image being able to reason using our wills, have intelligence to make decisions, and emotions to feel love. If we had been made with no choice we could not be made in God's image.

           Thus God's plan was to offer all men redemption and salvation freely, but most men reject God. If God did not allow men to make a choice, heaven would not be the place God has planned for believers, both Old and New Testament. We do not know much about how God will use believers in heaven and His coming kingdom, but we know He has plan and as Paul said it is wonderful beyond our ability to comprehend.

           Romans 1:18-23 states man is without excuse because God reveals Himself to all men. John 3:19-20 explain why men choose to reject God and are lost.

           The key is God wants a people who will believe and serve Him freely because the respect and love Him. If God forced man to believe then this could not be true.

           I am confident that once we are will the Lord we will understand. It is sad that most men reject God and reject His salvation. It is sad that they will be eternally separated from God in the Lake of Fire, but that is their choice. I had talked this past week with several people witnessing to them. They were not the least interested to the Lord, or their eternal destiny. The heard the truth and even stated they knew they needed to believe....but they would not as John 3:19-20 state. Some people want to blame God, but that is unfair. God promised the Messiah at the Fall of Man and has promised throughout history redemption to all who will believe and accept it. He through the Holy Spirit reveals Himself to every man and most of all showed His love by coming to this earth, incarnate in flesh in Jesus Christ and suffering and dying for our sins. What more could He do? He offers salvation freely to all would will accept it.

           I hope this helps you to understand to some degree. Knowing the love of God and His righteousness we know what He has done is right.
